Sports Interactive has been recognised at the 2021 GamesIndustry.biz Best Places To Work Awards as one of the best large (200+) companies to work for UK video games industry.

The awards are based on a two-survey system, which takes into account submissions from both employers and employees. SI adds its name to a list of winners that includes its sister studios, HardLIGHT and Creative Assembly.

Sports Interactive COO Matt Carroll said: “It’s fantastic to see Sports Interactive recognised as one of the UK’s best studios. We understand how lucky we are to have enjoyed the growth we have amid the deeply challenging circumstances brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. We’ve added more than 50 new members to our vibrant team and despite working remotely throughout, we’ve continually sought to maintain a good working culture and warm studio ethos.

“We’ve continually looked for new ways to build our inclusive culture and warm studio ethos. An award like this is a huge testament to that, especially as the winners are largely determined by anonymous feedback. I am so proud of our brilliant team who constantly strive for the absolute best in everything we do in studio – especially when it comes to collaborating and supporting one another.”

In addition to its recognition in the main award category, SI was also shortlisted in two further categories; Environmental and Corporate Social Responsibility.
